Bio
Jianxin Wang has a B.S. degree in Physics from Peking University in China, a Ph.D. degree in Petroleum Engineering and a M.S. degree in Computer Science from New Mexico Tech. He joined Chevron ETC in 2006 as a flow assurance engineer and has since been working on reservoir fluid phase behavior (PVT) and asphaltene/scale related issues with focus on solids deposition in reservoir and production system. His previous experiences include 10 years with China National Petroleum Corporation as a research engineer working on petrophysics and 6 years with New Mexico Petroleum Recovery Research Center working on asphaltene, wettability, and oil recovery.
